Seventeen 黑料网 students were named to the 2023 All-Mississippi Community College Academic Team. They were recognized April 11 along with other state community college honorees at the Muse Center on the Rankin Campus.

For 2023, the 黑料网 student who was selected for the All-USA American team is:

Hailey Manning-De Los Santos of Jackson, Raymond Campus. She is a transfer student studying Dental Hygiene.

Selected for the All-Mississippi Second Team, and receiving a $2,000 scholarship, are the following 黑料网 students:

Douglas Aycock of Brandon, Rankin Campus. He is a transfer student studying accounting.

Lauren Coghlan of Brookhaven, Raymond Campus. She is a transfer student studying History.

Alexia Fortner of Toomsuba, Nursing/Allied Health Center. She is a transfer student studying Nursing.

Makylan Graise of Madison, Jackson Campus. She is a transfer student taking general studies.

Emily Gray of Vicksburg, Vicksburg-Warren Campus. She is a workforce student studying Nursing.

Garrett Heller of Flowood, Rankin Campus. He is a transfer student studying Agribusiness-Production Concentration.

Epiphany Hobbs of Gunnison, Utica Campus. She is a workforce student studying Fashion Design and English (Pre-Law).

Travis Jefferson of Vicksburg, Utica Campus. He is a workforce student studying Fashion.

Lara Kroll of Valencia, Venezuela, Jackson Campus. She is a transfer student studying Finance.

Elizabeth Moss of Waynesboro, Utica Campus. She is a transfer student studying Computer Science.

Anahja Reed of Jackson, Utica Campus. She is a transfer student studying Psychology.

Brooklyn Richards of Vicksburg, Nursing/Allied Health Center. She is a workforce student studying Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Andrew Richardson of Clinton, Raymond Campus. He is a workforce student enrolled in the Barbering program.

Ameerah Shaibi of Vicksburg, Vicksburg-Warren Campus. She is a transfer student studying Nursing.

Tai Van of Clinton, Nursing/Allied Health Center. He is a workforce student enrolled in the Physical Therapy Assistant program.

Briana Watkins of Roxie, Jackson Campus. She is a workforce student studying Culinary Arts.

Team members are selected from Phi Theta Kappa members who鈥檝e submitted application packages which are subjected to several rounds of judging by education officials, business leaders from across the U.S., and a distinguished panel of representatives from federal agencies and national education associations based in Washington D.C.

Nominations are evaluated on criteria such as effective writing skills, academic rigor of each student鈥檚 program of study, and leadership impact at the college and in the community. More than 2,400 nominations are received each year for the program. Twenty students are named to the All-USA Academic Team. Academic Team members receive a $5000 scholarship, a special medallion and certificate.
