搁础驰惭翱狈顿鈥The Fall 2023 honorees of the IDEAList employee recognition program at 黑料网 were honored at the January Board of Trustees meeting. IDEALists are nominated by anyone at Hinds. They represent Hinds鈥 college values of Integrity, Diversity, Excellence, Accountability, Leadership and Stewardship.

In alphabetical order the honorees are:

  • Laketha Robinson Berry of Clinton, Early Childhood Academy, Jackson Campus. She has been with the college for 23 years. She is an instructor and advisor at the Academy. 
  • Latonya Bullie of Madison, Distance Learning Navigator, located on the Raymond Campus. She has been with Hinds for 10 years. She is a resource for online students, helping them get on a successful path to graduation. Latonya said her mission is to 鈥渞emove barriers so that her online students can succeed and obtain a quality education.鈥 Latonya is also Raymond鈥檚 TechNest Specialist.
  • Lauren Lawson of Vicksburg, Biology Instructor, Vicksburg-Warren Campus. She has been with Hinds for two years. She is also an adviser for Phi Theta Kappa and is the STEM Department Chair. Before coming to Hinds, she taught Biology and Microbiology at the University of Mississippi and taught Environmental Science at Louisiana State University. 
  • Clinton native Sydney Love of Raymond, Alumni Coordinator for the 黑料网 Foundation, located on the Raymond Campus. She has been with Hinds for four years. She develops and maintains relationships with alumni, donors and businesses, coordinates Foundation fundraising events and organizes homecoming activities including Alumni Awards and the Sports Hall of Fame.
  • Shirley Ann Mayberry McGruder of Jackson, Administrative Assistant in Student Support Services, Rankin Campus. She has been with the college for five years. She assists the Dean of Student Support Services and is the Front Desk Receptionist.
  • Marcille McLendon of Edwards, Instructor, Department Chair and Curriculum Coordinator in Kinesiology. She has been with Hinds for 13 years. She also has been an adjunct instructor in Kinesiology at Mississippi College since 2010.
  • Leslie Moak of Raymond, Office Manager for the college president, located on the Raymond Campus. She has been with Hinds for 14 years. She organizes and prepares for meetings, schedules conference rooms, takes care of purchasing, coordinates travel, coordinates college events, creates the Events Calendar, takes meeting minutes and manages the daily operations of the President鈥檚 office.
  • Sandra Odoms of Utica, Program Entry Navigator in the Student Services Department at Nursing Allied Health in Jackson. She has been with the college for 31 years. She started as a substitute teacher for Hinds Agricultural High School and has had several roles over the years. As a Navigator she processes program applications, which includes working closely with school advisers and recruiters. She is familiar with college programs and their requirements, using her knowledge to help students through the application process.
  • M. 鈥淣eal鈥 Stuart of Pelahatchie is the Supervisor of Facility Services for the Clyde Muse Center, Rankin Campus. He has been with the college for 4 1/2 years. Before coming to Hinds, Stuart worked in the oil fields. Now, he oversees Facility team members at the Muse Center as they prepare for events, conferences and meetings.  
  • Larry Williams of Raymond, Head Football Coach in the Athletic Department on the Raymond Campus. He has been with Hinds for 20 years. He leads recruiting and coaching efforts for the football team.
  • Pamela Fisher Williams of Utica is Director of Student Support Services on the Utica Campus. She has been with the college for 23 years. She is responsible for establishing annual goals and planning the budget. Both objectives are based on the goals of the college and the regulations of the Mississippi Department of Education.
