Overview
Interdisciplinary Studies give you the versatility to customize a program of study while achieving an Associate of Arts. Often, students enroll in college with no particular major in mind; yet they do have keen areas of enthusiasm in multiple fields. Interdisciplinary Studies satisfy this desire for a degree composed of various disciplines.
After transferring the associate鈥檚 degree in Interdisciplinary Studies to a four-year institution, a student will receive guidance in creating a defined path of coursework that will support the student鈥檚 specific interests and potential career opportunities.
In completing the Associate of Arts degree at Hinds, students will lay a strong foundation in critical thinking, oral and written communication, and technology use so that they are prepared to complete a bachelor鈥檚 degree at a four-year college.
