Barber, Stylist
Overview
Our Barber Stylist program can prepare you to cut hair using shears and clippers, and to perm, color, relax, and style hair. You will also receive training in facials and straight-razor shaving. Special attention is given to hygiene, safety, skin and scalp disease, and equipment sterilization. Additionally, you鈥檒l study sales, business management, state law, and customer relationships.
黑料网 is where barbers get their start. All the basic knowledge and experience required to cut and style hair, perform facials and straight-razor shaves, and hygiene/sterilization will be offered to you here. The education you鈥檒l receive will widen your options as your career moves forward. When you complete your coursework, you will graduate from 黑料网 with a Career Certificate and will be qualified to take the State Barber Board certification examination.

Admission Requirements
Students interested in enrolling in this program must:
- be at least 17 years of age
- be a high school graduate
- request that official transcripts or GED scores be sent to the Office of Admissions and Records and 黑料网
To be admitted to this program, a person must have聽a high school diploma or high school equivalency (GED庐, HiSET庐, TASC鈩) and must have the following minimum assessment scores:
